do I need to get an after market heat sink and fan to run a intel q9650 or will the old heat sink be adequate and if I get the after marlet where do I plug it  in on the mother board?

I am running the Q9500 in my dc7900 SFF, stock heat sink, with no issues.

Hi:

 

There are no different heatsinks required.  There is only one heat sink offered for your pc.

Ever thing on line says the q9650 runs hot so the stock heat heat sink is adequate in your opinion becaus eI cand get aStarteck t775 for $14.12 which is not much to protect the chip Tks Richard
