The drawer for the DVD drive broke. How can I get a replacement/

Not sure of your search, but here it is.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

849055-HC0   This part is not yet available for purchase.
DVD - 8X SMD 9.5 UST NoBzl PLDS  
RoHS: COMPLY_1.00

 

and it is not orderable. Searching the internet I find this part number at ebay, but the DVD drive looks different.

 

When I pull the DVD drive out I find the HP part number 849055-HC1. Model DU-8AESH-EEC.

 

So far searching has not provided me something I can order.

Does not look exactly like the drive I pulled out of the PC. It is missing some green plastic that lockes the drive in and the front is a different color. I have ordered it and hpoe I can get it installed and working once I get it.
