I have an Compaq presario CQ5300Y Desktop pc and was wantning to upgrade my cpu to an Athlon x2 7750 cpu but when I looked at the motherboard spects it says AMD Athlon X2 (B) (AM2+) the reason I am asking this is idk what the B stands for and was afraid to buy the cpu and it wouldnt work. is this supported still?

Hi,
The CQ5300Y PC has a AM2+ socket rated for 95 watts. These are the motherboard specifications for your PC. Review the processor upgrade section. The AMD processors on this list should work.
