AMD Radeon HD6350 drivers [ Edited ]

Hello, I am the owner of the HP Pavilion p6-2030it model:

I am looking for the drivers for my graphics card, AMD/ATI Radeon hd 6350. Well the case is like this:

If I install the official catalyst from AMD the card is being recognized as an hd 5450 by the Windows 7 device manager. WIndows update gives me an available optional update for it, I can install it and then the device manager shows hd 6350 BUT it seems that the catalyst won't find the card anymore, it says no AMD card installed. To make it clear, everything seems (I have the pc for a very few time to test everything yet) to be running ok with the microsoft drivers but I would really like to use the official AMD ones. Any ideas why this happening and how I could solve it in order to use catalyst as an hd 6350?

Hi:

Try the drivers from a HP 8200 Elite CMT which has the same video adapter.

Thank you I will try them as soon as possible and let you know. I am away this week so as soon as I do I'll post the resutls. Though, any idea of why this is happening? (I mean Catalyst sees the card as a 5450)

Unfortunately. I don't know why you are getting that kind of effect in the Catalyst Control Center.

I installed the drivers I posted on my 8200 Elite and my Radeon 6350 HD was recognized as a Radeon 6350 in the CCC.

I have since removed that card, and installed the Radeon 6570 HD.  I am very happy with my new video card.
