Adding new hard drive

I would like to confirm the compatibility of 1TB HD such as this one

My system is HP p6230f, with HD radeon 6770 and 500w corsair power supply

 

I want to add new one to make it a storage for my files and videos.

 

So please let me know if this HD with 1TB capacity will work with my system without any problem, also I want to know if it does require to change raid settings when adding new drive, or it will work just like plug and play when installing sata power and data cables

I have an HP computer based on the same motherboard as yours and 1TB hard drives work without issue. I reinstalled Windows 7 on my computer after changing the SATA mode to AHCI but it should work like plug & play in RAID mode, provided you don't create an array.
