Recently I bought a pavilion p6-2378 pc desktop with windows 8 64-bit. Noticed the desktop does not have any wireless internet connection.
Bought a BCM94313HMGB 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed Half MiniCard and installed it. Wireless driver works immediately. But I donot see the bluetooth radio option anywhere.
What I am missing? Why I don't the bluetooth radio on the device manager?

Yes. I reviewed that before posting it.
I used a PCI-E to PCI-mini adapter and that caused the problem. I directly inserted into the motherboard and both bluetooth and wireless networking worked fine.
Thank you.

According to this DELL forum thread the BCM94313HMGB PCIe mini-card is comprised of a BCM2070 Bluetooth module and a BCM4313 WLAN module. It appears Windows located a driver for the BCM4313 WLAN but not the BCM2070 Bluetooth adapter. See the last post (by Andrewjawney) in this HP forum thread for a possible resolution to your issue. It appears that this updated Bluetooth for Windows software download from Broadcom may be what you are looking for.

Hello budhrp,
I understand that your wireless is not working.
Go to device manager and uninstall the wireless under network adapters.
Restart the computer.
This will uninstall and reinstall the driver for the wireless.
Here is a link that will show you how to get to device manager.
If you’re still having the issue and since it has not been to long since the problem started, you can run a system restore.
This will take the system back to when everything was working correctly without affecting your personal files.
Here is a link on how to do a restore.
Let me know how everything goes.
