HP Support Assistant updated my HP Pavillion's (P6102f) BIOS today. ![]()
It froze my computer, and after waiting for a while was forced to restart. Unfortunately, it's been unable to start; emitting 2 beeps between pauses, with a black/blank screen.
I've ensured there's no dust and both fans are running.
What should I do? (My computer is a little over two years old.)
Edited: punctuation.

Having the same problem. The computer froze after the update. Waited for about 5 minutes after the update and had to reset the computer. Will not boot up now. BIOS corrupt??? How to repair??

I have the same problem, during the update my computer froze, I let it sit for an hour and I had to restart it and now my keyboard would even come on. I think my computer just got screwed by HP. I sure hope there is a way to reflash the BIOS.

I hate to sound pessimistic, but I tried everything. You can either replace the motherboard or buy a new computer.
I chose the later. HP really botched this one.
