CP1215 will not print in black

My HP Laserjet CP1215 is not printing black (even in black and white mode).  The cartridge is fairly new and has over 1,000 pages left.  I am unable to print documents.  The sheets come out blank or they will show only the colored items.  This is something new.  FYI - my color cartridges are low but still have pages left.

I hope you are doing well welcome to the forum.

GO HERE and update to the latest firmeware if not done already. Click here and select your Operating System e.g. Win 7

I am not positive that this particular printer supports this tool but let see if it does. GO HERE  Assuming you are using windows XP or later)

I did run the utility and for now my printer seems to be working fine.  I will keep your links available should I have the problem again.
