This might be a dead topic. I recently purchased the aformentioned 6000+ CPU (ADA6000IAA6CZ) based on this exact thread. However, when I put it in my (BIOS Updated 2.36) machine, it does not boot. I do not get a post screen.

 

Please assist!

I tried ADA5600IAACZ  Athlon  64 X2 5600+ CPU on my Hp dc5750. and upgraded ver.2.36 Bios. My HP system works perfectly.

Kevin, Is your computer working by old CPU after 2.36 bios? did you try it?
