CPU list supported

Could you please indicate the list of CPU supported by the ASUS PTGD1-LA motherboard with bios 3.28.

The initial bios supported intel pentium D up to 3.8 GHZ.  the new bios indicate it extended the list of cpu..Which are they?

Which model HP PC are you using? How to Find the HP Model Number  Once that is known then we can reference that model's specific motherboard.  The bios will be the key to what models are supported. Typically, the marketing customization page when the model was introduced is normally a for sure document for processors that will work.

Hi,

It is a HP pavilion t790.uk modael.  According to this HP webside it has the Asus PTGD1-LA (Puffer)  motherboard.

The HP support website indicate the motherboard supports pentium 4 and Pentium 4 HT CPU.

Hhowever the bios upgrade 3.28 indicate an extended list of cpu.

I was wondering if one could give the full list of CPU supported by bios 3.28 on  Asus PTGD1-LA (Puffer)  motherboard.

This is your PC's motherboard specifications.  Bios 3.28 as posted for your PC doesn't elaborate on which model processors are supported.

The reason for the post is because I'm  looking for the info that's not on the HP website specification,  i.e the list of supported cpu
