Can't Get My Printer to Print Word or PDF Documents

Hi,

 

I wanted to ask if anyone could help me resolve a problem with my new printer.  I have completed the installation process, and everything is working well EXCEPT that it whenever I try to print Word or PDF documents, it just spits out a BLANK sheet of paper.  I have followed all the troubleshooting suggestions from HP, including uninstalling/reinstaffling the software, unplugging/resetting the device, and have completed a dignostic check using Diagnostic/Troubleshooting utility (both the one on my PC and HP's), but it detects no problems.

 

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be, and if there's anything else I can try.
