I changed my case for cooling reason and I can't make the power light and the HDD light work on the new case. I searched the web for motherboard spec unsuccessfully. The original HP PC is a HPE 130F. Motherboard is a H-RS880-uATX (Aloe)
Manufacturer: Foxconn. I found some spec but not enough details on J18 connector.

The original front panel connector is an all in one type. I found the Power Switch and the reset switch on J18 connector but can't make the LED work.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello CeD_B, I am not familiar with your particular motherboard front panel pin connectors, however if the from leads (wires) are inserted in a plastic connector, you may need to remove the leads and connect them individually. They are usually labled.

The led wires for the power switch and the hard drive activity are polorized, meaning they have a plus and a minus side that must be connected to the motherboard pins in the proper polarity.

If you have them connected to the power led and the hard drive led pins on the motherboard and the lights are not on, just reverse the leads, and the power light should come on, and the hard drive activity light should come on when the hard drive is being written to or data retrieved from the hard drive.

While this image is not your motherboard, it will offer some idea of the pin connections on certain motherboards.
