Hello!
I just wanted to know, can i change my GFX Card to NvidiaGeforce GTX460?
Now I have Ati HD Radeon 5570 premium GFX.
I have HP Pavilion Elite 417sc.
I have MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) motherboard and 460W HP Premium power supply.
Do I need to change my power supply or motherboard?
Thank you!

Koka, welcome to the forum.
It appears that the card should fit into your case. The ones that I found on Newegg were 8.25" long. However, the wattage required is 450W. You can give it a try. If it doesn't happen to be enough wattage, you can always upgrade the PSU, as well. You motherboard should be fine.

Hi,
Open up your PC and make sure that your power supply has two PCI-E 6 pin power connectors or four 4 pin molex connectors. These are the required power connections for a GTX460.
I very much doubt that your existing power supply has the available connectors. A Corsair CX500 or CX600 should have plenty of power for the NVIDIA GTX460.

Hi,
Yuo might want to consider the NVIDIA GTS 450 or the ATI 5770. These video cards only require one 6 pin PCI-E power connector.
The Corsair CX600 should fit but to be sure open up your PC and measure the size of your power supply.
Review the ATI and NVIDIA performance specifications. Look at the memory bandwidth specifications and the DirectX level support.

Hi!
I compared the nvidia GTS 450 and ati hd 5770 and i decided to get 5770.
Few questions about 5770 http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=A3e6oK1t64p0
Does this card have 128GB/S memory bandwidth?
Does my power have enough 12V+ amperes for this GFX??
I like this card because i don't need to change any other components in my PC and its kind of cheap. ![]()
Thank you!
Sorry bad english.

Hi,
Yes the ATI 5770 has a 128bit bus. Here are some good graphs on power consumption for the ATI 5770.
Most PCI-E 6 pin connectors are rated for 75 watts so you so be good with your existing power supply.

Hey!!
One more question about GFX.
Does the http://www.geforce.com/#/Hardware/GPUs/geforce-gtx
work on my PC?
It says = Minimum system power requirement = 400W
Supplementary power connectors = One 6-pin.
I'm looking for it because its much better than 5770.
Thanks!

Hi,
The NVIDIA 550 looks to be an excellent price/performance video card.
