Compaq Presario SR2168HM SM Bus controller drivers for XP

Subject says it all. The desktop had Vista but I installed XP Pro. I have all the drivers except for the SM Bus Controller.

Can anyone provide me with some help?

Mike, the SM Bus Controller is integrated into the chipset driver.  You should install the chipset driver first, then, all of the other drivers.

Hello antman1998, Here  is the link for the specifications for your system. As others mentioned, there are no Windows XP drivers listed. The motherboard chipset is NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 420. The Windows XP drivers for this chipset can be found  Here . These drivers may or may not work on your system.

The Network Device is the Realtek RTL8101E.  The link for these drivers will not link up, but you can go to the Realtek website and locate and download these drivers.

The audio device is the Realtek High Definition Audio Realtek ALC888.  Here  is the link for these drivers, and again they may not work.  Accept and click on Windows 2000, Windows xp.

The graphics device is NVIDIA Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 420, 6150 LE, 6150SE nForce 430, 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i and 8200 Graphics Driver.

These drivers should be included in the chipset drivers package.

All of these may or may not work. HP does not have any drivers for Windows XP.
