Computer fan turns really loud after blackout

product: HP P7- 1245
operation system: Windows 7 64 bit

Hey, is it normal to have the fan become really loud after turning on the computer after black out? I had a blackout for about 20 seconds then as soon as I turned on the computer, the fan was really loud. the screen put me to "Windows did not shut down properly" or something like that, and gave me optiosn to choose to run windows (I choose to run normally.) After I turned off my computer and turned it back on, the loudless of the fan went away. So, is it normal to have the fan become really loud after a black out?

Re: Computer fan turns really loud after blackout

As long as it doesn't persis it is fine.

After an abrupt shut down, or crash, the computer tries to collect data to determine the cause and find a fix automatically. It loads a lot of files to prepare for a fix. When your processor works hard and at a fast rate, it heats up, and causes the fan to over compensate. Hence the loud fan.

It should slowdown aftera while.
