I unwittingly bought one of these on ebay. 30 days after purchase, and 2 weeks after DOA guarantee expired, it failed. Obviously I have no claim on HP.

 

Can anyone recommend a motherboard to replace this? I can recycle everything else, including the CPU. I am cost sensitive so don't want to pay for a CPU and a motherboard, too. The power supply on this is limited, so I'm limited to TDP <= 65W. I'd really like an onboard S-Video, too, or a cheap older PCIe video card that supports HDMI, HDCP, and (at least) DirectX9.

I have the exact problem. Returned it 3 times and still does the same thing eventually. Broke again now! Waiting to hear if it's going to be repaired again.
