Deplorable Customer Service for my Pavilion Elite HPE360z

More than three weeks ago, I called warranty repair to get a bad hard drive replaced. Yet as of today my unit is still not repaired and I have been told by HP support that I cannot be trusted, that I am a thief, and that if I do not provide a credit card number, my unit will not be repaired and they will close my case file.  Since I have not heard from HP in over a week, I guess they were true to their word.  I paid good money for an extended warranty and have gotten shafted!  This is unacceptable and certainly not customer service.  As I promised those support reps, I will find any avenue to express my grievance to the public.

 

HP should not be outsourcing their technical support to foreign countries if the workers in those countries do not understand English fully, do not understand HPs rules and do not listen to what the customer is saying to them.  I told the first CSR who was going to send me a replacement drive to send it to a different address than the one she had on file.  Well, she didn't listen and she sent it somewhere that I cannot get it back from.  From that point on I have spent over 3 hours being told of what I had to do to fix the situation, and that unless I provided credit cards I would not receive service.  Since I already paid for the warranty, I could see no good reason why I had to pay for anything else.  BECAUSE OF HPs ERROR, I DO NOT GET MY COMPUTER FIXED.  I HAVE BEEN BULLIED BY THESE PEOPLE AND I HAVE BEEN LIED TO.  That is what I call unfair, unreasonable business practices.

 

I am tired of having to fight corporations to fulfil their own contracts.  This is the last time HP will get any of my money (and that's a shame, because I really like this computer and I swear by their printers).  But I'll be damned before I ever buy another one of their products simply because they refused to replace a hard drive under warranty.

 

Since this is on HP's website, I think they should do something about this, don't you?  Speak Up.  Enough of poor service handled by incompetent people!
