Desktop HP Pavillion issues please help :-(

My Pavillion 20-b013w windows 8 Desktop pc just stoped working on me. it shows the hp logo and trys to repair but after a few mins it goes to black screen.... :womansad:

I tryed trying to restore, recover...anything but can't get to that screen

Hi

 

Once unit is powered on keep tapping F2 key run the Diagnostics check if there is any failure of Hardware part first. Kindly check & revert back will let you know what needs to be done.

Hello :-D

 

Repeadly pressing F2 worked a little...I got a pop-up screen that said press esc. For start-up menu....I repeadly pressed esc and got a blue square that said: continue startup, system Information, change language, Dianostic (f2) so I pushed f2 then the diagnostics came up....I run start-up test and get memory passed.....Hard Disk 1 Failed. 

 

 

Your help is most appropriated!

Hi

 

The Hard drive on the unit has failed which needs to be replaced only then unit will be back to its good working condition.

 

If your notebook is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange to have the drive replaced.

If you are out of warranty and would like a guide on replacing the Hard Drive yourself, please let me know.
