I am so disappointed with my E9180t.  After much research, I selected this unit, customized it and spent $2400. for it.  It has been on the bench twice since September 2009.  First it was the motherboard, the last time BOTH hard drives had to be replaced.  I have absolutely no confidence that this will not happen again.  I am soooooo glad that I purchased the extended care plan!

Re: E9180t

Yes the early 9180s had issues as you found out the hard way.  The early e9280t models also had issues.

Re: E9180t

They knew these were **bleep** computers and yet they allowed them to be shipped.  They then had to be forced by a lawsuit to repair them.  I used to love HP but I hate HP now and will never buy one again.  I was a customer of 12 years too.  It is rediculous the lemmon we were sold in these units.   They say they repair them but they always still have issues.  I advise everyone I know and come into contact with not to buy HP because they're selling junk.

Yeah and I had my Mobo replaced, its worse than the orginal about blue screening.  HP Lied about this, they didn't do **bleep** for us.  {Content Removed: legal discussion}  I won't be buying HP any longer, thats for sure.
