Hello,
I have same problem with HP 4510s. I reinstall HP Quick Buttons, updated BIOS to version F18, downgraded BIOS to version F15, F17, but no effect
Complete uninstall HP Quick Buttons is "hardcore" solutions.

Me too, has anyone discovered a reason for the error? I have had this laptop since '08 and I have only recently had this issue, but now it does it like three times at the same time, If I hook in to the router directly it doesn't happen. but when I use the charge is when it occurs??? hmmm I checked the performance schedule and it shows no errors or problems.

These HP cords are not very good. The first one I had just stopped working. On the second, the ground insert came out. I damaged that cord and eventually it broke. They are sort of expensive. I spliced the broken cord and taped it. About this time, the" For Full performance You need a Higher voltage AC Adapter" message started coming up. I bought a new battery from Amazon for $26. Then I notice Amazon had the same battery ffor $17 and if you bought a cord for $7, you got free shipping. These batteries only last about 2 hours and I needed a cord, so I bought it. the $7 cord. It works fine but the unpleasant message kept coming up. I changed the power settings to balanced. So far that seems to have solved the problem. It was only a few days ago.

Hello ibsa,
You’re getting a message that you need a higher voltage ac adapter.
Go to HP.com and update the BIOS.
Here is a link to the update. You'll need your product number.
You can find this information by holding the FN key and pressing the ESC key.
Since you have a new laptop, you should call HP and make sure that you have the right ac adapter for your computer.
Here is a link to the phone number to call HP.
Let me know how everything goes.
Have a good day.
