Re: Guide for Selecting a Discrete Video Card

Hi mcflange,

The HP cabinet for your PC is quite common. A 10" card would be very tight and a 9" or smaller card would be a good choice.  It's always bvest to measure as cable routing inside the PC can be troublesome.

Re: Guide for Selecting a Discrete Video Card

You can get up to a GTX 680 and it should be able to barely fit it in your PC. The Radeon HD 7900 series cards may be too long, though. It all depends on your budget.

Re: Guide for Selecting a Discrete Video Card

Hi pck714,

Tap the ESC key after powering on the PC and then select Computer Setup (f10). Go to the Security topics and then select Secure Boot Configuration. You will need to disable secure boot if it is enabled and save the settings. You might also have to enable Legacy mode if just the change in Secure Boot to disabled doesn't solve the issue.

Hi,

Changing the bios settings is not going to void your warranty.
