I have a HP 775e have not used in 3 years. I plugged it in and the message I am getting Is Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key .
If anybody can guide me or advise. Highly apprciated!!!!

Hi:
Try tapping the F9 key at the HP welcome screen.
You should get a one time boot menu. You should be given options to boot from. Select the hard drive to boot from.
If you get the error again, you may have a bad hard drive, or somehow in the last 3 years, the data and/or power connection to the drive may have come loose.

I finally tried it , did not work , still getting Reboot and Select proper bood device. ![]()
