HP Card Reader

Have an a6652f that is running XP (not Vista thank goodness). It see the Card Reader types as drives and recognizes a CF card, but a Mem Stick or SDHC card just show a solid light and the PC never sees it. All are the same size of 8GB. Seems odd the reader would see the CF but not the other card. Any ideas? Are there Card Reader drivers for an HP Pavillion running XP?

XP has a hard time handling large memory cards. If you have not installed XP SP3 then you need to install it to help with that issue. My XP still won't recognize anything over 4GIG. Others have not been so lucky.

Try updating the chipset drivers. They control usb issues.
