Hi,
In my office we have just moved all the furniture around, all of the workstations were moved around and worked fine prior to the move.
One of them now refuses to start, its an HP DC7600 flat tower. All it does now when you press the power button, is flash a red light and beep 5 times. Then do the same over and over again.
Any idea as of to what the problem could be?
Many thanks,
Ben

Sorted it!
Red Power LED flashes five times, once every second, followed by a two second pause. Beeps stop after fifth iteration but LEDs continue until problem is solved. 5 Pre-video memory error. 1. Reseat DIMMs. Power on the system. 2. Replace DIMMs one at a time to isolate the faulty module. 3. Replace third-party memory with HP memory. 4. Replace the system board.
Thanks for looking anyway!
Ben
