HP Officejet 6500 - Vista - Paper Jam

I am getting the paper jam message but there is no paper jam.  The cartridge is stuck in the far right position and when I turn printer on I get the paper jam message and then "click,click,click" and I believe that noise is from the cartridge trying to move.  I can't manually move it.  This is my work at home business fax and I need to get it going so any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
