My new HP Pavilion 500-035ed desktop doesn't have a Firewire / 1394 connection. My digital camera doesn't support USB for uploading AVI-files.
Therefore I don't know how to connect my digital camera...
- Does anyone know alternatives for Firewire?
- Do Firewire -> USB 3.0 adapters exist?
- If I want to buy a Firewire card, what internal connector should I use?
The HP Pavilion 500-035ed contains a Joshua motherboard: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/D
Thanks in advance,

PCIEx1 firewire 1394a and 1394b cards do exist. Examples in the US
