hi all,
recently got myself the HP Pavilion p7-1015uk and im happy so far.
i do have something thats driving me crazy and thats the mouse and keyboard most of the time are unusable.
they are the wireless version without the button on the dongle.
i have tried everything and it just seems that the signal from dongle is not strong enough.
my tower is not even at arms length from mouse/KB but still the same isues.
also i have another 200gig hdd which i removed from my old system, can i just add this straight into this machine and use it as a storage device.
kind regards
Mick

Hi,
Try replacing the batteries in the mouse and keyboard. Also try this posted article as it contains a lot of good tips.
Your PC is still under warranty so I would contact HP Support about your mouse and keyboard issue.
HP's support number is 800-474-6836 or 800-HPINVENT or online here. UK, try here.
If the hard drive is a 3.5" sata hard drive then I don't see an issue.
These HP 'how-to" articles should be helpful.
Lokk around inside the PC for the existing hard drive for a power connector.
