How do I know which drive to replace if computer says factory_image (D

Hi,
Typically the factory image drive (D) is just a partition on the main hard drive (C). Unless you are running RAID 1, if the main hard drive as in fact " failed" then you wouldn't be able to boot your PC.
Can you explain the circumstances in which you received that message that the "D" drive has failed?
Are you running RAID 1?

Yes, it is RAID 1. The failure came up as an alert after it had performed a drive test.

Hi,
Why were you performing a drive test?
Try this Intel driver update utility. Install any noted updates and reboot your PC. Now use the Intel Rapid Storage Technology tool to identify a possible hard drive failure.
