HPE-170t vs. HPE-170f and any user feedback on either rig please?

170f seems to be type sent to CDW and the likes. CDW says the 170f has two pcix x16 slots which i doubt. 170t has one and is built on the H57 Exoess while the 170f uses x58 express - typo by CDW?

anyone have the HPE-170f and can confirm the mb and issues encountered if any. Or any feeback on either machine. I may have to replace an e9140f which is driving me nuts.

HPE-170f motherboard specifications and photos.

I am running the e9280t which is same except for the model name.  Many of the these PCs manufactured before 12/1/2009 had bios and motherboard issues.  The new motherboards are out and a new bios update is available.  You should be good to go if the unit has the upgraded motherboard.  The recent bios upgrade is available for download.

yeah saw that in another thread and founf the 170f on the HR site- CDW pointed me to it initially, seems it's not a part of the power workstation listings which is odd.

170f has a better vid card and faster proc than your sig however...??

It all depends on how your HPe-170f is configured for a procesor option.  The GTX 260 is better than what I have installed.  I didn't want to pay the extra bucks at the time.
