Hours on the phone with tech support, running back and forth swapping video cables, updating all drivers for ATI card, Blluray player and brand new HP 27 inch monitor and finally a system restore, call back, and bottom line.........."We're sorry but we don't know what's causing the problem. Is there anything else we can do for you?" How can they ship a PC with a Bluray player that won't play Bluray discs????? And nobody knows why. So what about the other problem that two identical PC's just purchased have wireless keyobards that type on each other's systems? Tech support never heard of that either, and several calls and hours on the phone, also no solutions. They didn't even know what the wireless hardware looked like. Apparently HP is shipping new wireless receivers but have not updated the photos and/or specs that their own techs pull up for reference. What a shame.........two PC's around $2000 each and had to send back......
I'd send an e-mail but I don't really think anyone would care.

I was just getting ready to order a maxed out 590t and was wondering how long you had to wait to receive your computers from HP after placing the order?
Sorry you are having problems.

I got mine in just over two weeks, but that was because of a delay with some big snowstorms in the south, and then here in the norhteast.

Just got in my new 590t with 2 Blu Ray drives and the second one worked for one day and then would not read discs.
HP is shipping me out a new Blu Ray drive and I'll swap it out myself.

I Just got a new HPE-590t with 16gb RAM, It has locked up 7 times now (every time I restart) I have to do a system restore every time I restart. I spent hours on the phone waiting for nothing. I was really hoping HP would be a good company to deal with, all I want know is to return the P.O.S. and never EVER purchase from HP again! It is a shame that they send out something like this when we are willing to pay for a nice computer. If I wanted to purchase a computer that was going to have serious problems I would have run down to Staples and bought a $500 machine.

My new 590T has been running smooth as silk.
They sent me a replacement Blu Ray drive for the one that would not read discs and now everything is working perfect.
(knock on wood). They sent it overnight Fed Ex.
Mine came with the i7 990X and they are still using the generic coolers on these expensive CPU's.
I have the Intel cooler from a 990X and was thinking about trying to replace the cheap one the PC came with.
Looks like I would have to remove the complete motherboard to do this so I think I'll pass on that for now.
It's running blazing fast, smooth and quite so I better just leave it alone.
Hopefully I'll have no more problems.
