I bought this computer over a year ago.
OS Name Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium
Version 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002
System Manufacturer HP-Pavilion
System Model KJ378AA-ABA a6430f
Processor AMD Phenom(tm) 8400 Triple-Core Processor, 2100 Mhz, 3 Core(s), 3 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 5.10, 2/21/2008
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 3.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 2.87 GB
Available Physical Memory 1.58 GB
Total Virtual Memory 5.97 GB
Available Virtual Memory 4.71 GB
Page File Space 3.17 GB
The Hardware Diagnostic Tools has displayed these error messages twice for the AMD Phenom(tm) 8400 Triple-Core Processor. The tests that were run were ther AMD FPU Test, AMD MMX Test, and AMD SSE Test. It says after these three tests, Failed (Error Code: AMD514-2W), Failed (Error Code: AMD514-7W), Failed (Error Code: AMD514-8W). Any idea of what this is? The internet doesn't say much. I noticed that the mouse speed got noticeably choppy, and something in the computer sounds alittle rough. Other than these changes the computer is running well. Any idea of what this is?

Sambova, I believe that I would contact AMD to see if they can tell you what the error code means. The trouble with error codes is that the only one that truely knows what it means is the programer.
