I believe the Model was released mid 2008 - you may be able to confirm this by contacting HP.
If you live in the US, contact HP Here.
If you are in another part of the world, start Here.
Another option, if the operating system has never been reinstalled is as follows.
Click the Start Menu, open All Program, open Accessories and launch Command Prompt. Type in the following command and hit enter.
Scroll back up the list and near the top you should see the 'Original Install Date'.
****Click the White Kudos star to say thanks****
****Please mark Accept As Solution if it solves your problem****
****I don't work for HP****

You can look up the warranty period which should give you a close date.
The model came out in late 2009, if that is all you need to know.

Your zd8000 PC was introduced around November of 2004.
You may be able to look up the warranty period at the link I posted above, which should give you some more specific info.

Hello, I am trying to find out how old my computer is too. It is a mess and I can't seem to fix it. Maybe it just needs replaced. It is a pavilion slimline s5220f Or is there some other number I need?
