When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers that are all different. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

Assuming you mean you have a HP Pavilion HPE h9-1215t Phoenix CTO Desktop Computer, you should have no issues at all installing a PCIe x1 sound to replace the integrated IDT 92HD73E HD audio solution.

NO, none of the HT/Omega products will work in your computer... with the exception of the "eClaro" and only the "eClaro"

Re: I want to change the sound card on my phoenix 1215t is it possible????

The Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD, the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Pro, and the ZxR or Zx all appear to be quality products. You should have room to "stack" the ZxR, however it will reduce your PCIe x1 slot count. The SB X-Fi Titanium HD seems to rate pretty darn good but there are a host of other cards in its class... the ASUS Xonar series also comes to mind. Do a little research and choose the one you are most comfortable with.

Re: I want to change the sound card on my phoenix 1215t is it possible????

PCI x1 sound cards are probably super -- do not know.

I have 4 hours of research into Roland Quad Capture via USB 2.0 port which is

around $225 with MIDI in and out and many nice stuff.

If anybody has experience with Roland USB sound card or

other USB sound card for music and recording, please give comments.

Re: Help with PCIe X1 video card

A challedge question to the EXPERTS and others.

HP HPE h9 1215T   PCie3.0 on X16 slot ; PCIe2.0 on PCIeX1 shot ( used presently).

I want to free up my pcieX16 slot now occupied by GT630 vid card.

I have found a high perf pcieX1 video card.

It is a HIS 6450  Silence 2GB PCIeX1 which seems to have porting for my

ASUS 2560X1400 super duper monitor.

ALAS, spec says PCIe 2.1 on the X1 card ; the motherboard has PCIe 2.0 shot.

This is this effort dead in the water ?

ANY PCIeX1 video cards out there that will drive my 2560X1400 ASUS monitor ??

Bevy GoodGirl    thanks for previos helps !!  KUDOs !!!!
