I want to update my power supply for my m9660f to be able to power my new video card N550GTX -Ti.
Currently have a 460 but would like to upgrade to 1000w or higher but I'm not sure on the dimensions.
When I look on New Egg they do give dimensions such as you see below but not sure what is the width or length. the small dimension I assume si height.
7.9" x 5.9" x 3.4"

7.9" x 5.9" x 3.4" is a large jump from the stock HP power supplies. This will most likely block or interfere with the CD/DVD drives and maybe some motherboard connections. I suggest using a Corsair CX600 as it is only slightly larger than a stock PSU. The CX600 measures 5.5" x 5.9" x 3.4"
