I have a Pavilion M9340f (running Vista x64) with an empty Media Drive slot. I ordered a Pocket Media Drive for the slot, but it does not fit. It is diffcult to find Media Drives, and the options I find do not have as much storage capacity as the Pocket Media Drive anyway. Is anyone aware of an adapater or converter for the Media Drive slot that would allow me to slide the Pocket Media Drive in?

Hi,
Are you talking about this?
Well, it should be treated as an external HDD. Do you want to put it into your machine ?

Yes - that's the one. I'd like to put it in my Media Drive slot, but it doesnt fit (there is an extra connection or pin in the drive slot that keeps me from sliding it in). The personal media drives that I have found online are typically used, and have only 160-300 gb of capacity along with bad reviews. I appears that the older media that the slot was designed for is somewhat obsolete. The Pocket Media drive as 500gb of capacity I would like to be able to slide it into the Media Drive, but would need some sort of adapter or converter that fits into the existing Media Drive slot.

Hi,
Probably due to less demand. As I said above, there are thousands of external HDD's around and they are very cheap now therefore HP can not keep an obsoleted part in its storeroom.
