Re: My desktop don't send signal to monitor

As you added a graphics card, the GeForce 7200GS, I would suggest you remove it.

That would allow you to use the onboard VGA graphics port. If your 7200 is bad, you will then know it.

Re: My desktop don't send signal to monitor

I removed GeForce 7200 , I connect the monitor to VGA but it still does not receive signal. The monitor works well,  I'm using it on another computer.

Re: My desktop don't send signal to monitor

Did you perform the power supply tests?

Are you sure the hard drive connectors are snug in the drive. How about the Sata plug on the MB.

I want you to remove the side panel, and look at the fans.

Now press the "ON" button, and observe the fans. Are the fans running?  If so, power down.

Remove all the memory modules, and put only one back, in the slot closest to the CPU.

Power "ON", and observe.

Re: My desktop don't send signal to monitor

Please evaluate the following:

First , clean inside the desktop  with compressed air bottle and then;

Recommend me how to clean the RAM memory connections (connections rubbing RAM example with: office eraser, alcohol, cotton cloth, etc.).

Thank you very much for your advice.

Re: My desktop don't send signal to monitor

I solve the problem 3 month ago.
I clean inside the desktop with compressed air bottle.

Very important , I clean the contacts of the RAM with a cotton cloth soaked with 95% alcohol.
