My experience with an HP Pavilliion Series p7-1155

10 hours into the first day of operation the 1 Tb hard drive died.  Luckily, Micro Center in Cleveland stood behind the Mfg warranty and swapped out the unit for one that worked.

Keep your receipts and warranty information so you have minimum inconvenience.  Make sure your data are backed up.   It was still a headache to have to re-install all the programs and arm wrestle with two vendors to convince them I was just moving a license from one machine to another.

HP asked for feedback so here it is.

Djysrv, welcome to the forum.

This is a peer to peer help forum.  However, there are HP employees here all of the time.  They will see your information and pass it on.

The part about doing a backup of personal data is great advice.  Too many members don't and come here for help in retreiving it.  This is normally not possible.
