BTW, if I wanted to upgrade my processor, there is only one line I could upgrade to which is

AMD Phenom II X2 5xx (Callisto core) 

Am I corret ?

Review the ATI and NVIDIA performance specifications. Look at the memory bandwidth specifications and the DirectX level support.

I prefer the new NVIDIA 450 or 460 1GB video cards as the card length is only 8.25" in length.  It's also double wide so open up your PC and do some measuring. The ATI cards are longer in length.
