New hard drive

I have a Compac Presario SR5510F computer.  It has a 455G SATA hard drive. Recently the operating system got corrupted so I retrieved all the data I need. I want to replace it with a bigger hard drive, about 750G. Will my computer be able handle one this size?

Hi:

 

You should be able to go up to a 1 TB SATA II (3.0 GB/S) hard drive in your PC.
