Can someone have the clue and answer to cure to my problem ?
It’s been a while since these ‘Sockets’ haven’t been working
The Desktop is :
HP Pavilion Elite m9177c
The Problem ’Lies on the Front Area’ :
The ‘Flash Card Reader’ and
the Front ‘Jacks’ (Firewire Port, USB ports Audio Jacks, Audio/video Inputs)
They Don’t Work.
But a Plug-In 'L.E.D. Lamp' in the 'USB' Ports works, but aren't reconized by the comput ?
Can someone guide me to this Fix ?

Hi, I’m trying to find the problem.
I’ve check the ‘USB Drivers’ and seem there up to date !
Any Clue ? . . Anyone ?

Usually the memory card reader and the front USB ports connect into a header (a set of pins) on the motherboard. To me, it sounds like a loose connection.
What I would do if I were you.
Go to the PC model number support site - search HP.com for your model number and click Support and Troubleshooting.
Find the motherboard specification in the product information link.
Look at the layout diagram to show you where the USB header is located.
Turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.
Remove the side panel.
Find the connector cable that runs from the front of the PC to the USB header and unplug it from the motherboard.
Look for bent pins (just in case).
Make sure the cable rests off to the side, out of harms way, and plug the power cord back in.
Turn on the computer and let Windows sit open for a few minutes.
Shut down Windows - Select Start and then Shut down.
Unplug power cord.
Plug the USB cable back into the header on the motherboard - make sure it is fully seated.
Replace the side panel.
Connect the power cord.
Turn on the computer.
If the USB ports still do not work, then there might be something seriously wrong with USB device enumeration in the Windows Registry. Use System Restore to (hopefully) go back to a time when the ports were working correctly.
