Pavilion dv6700us webcam not showing up in device manager

I have a built in webcam.  It used to work but now none of my software recognizes it.  I went into my device manager and "imaging devices" isn't even listed.  I did a full system restore using the disks  sent to me by HP but it's still not there.  Any ideas?

Also, the computer came loaded with Windows Visa Home Premium.

i cant get my webcam to show me. i get onto windows messager and click video call and all i get on my end is a black screen and then i go to youcam and it tells me to turn on my webcam. but i dont know how
