Hello! I think i have a problem in putting a new video card on my
HP Pavilion Slim line s5220f Desktop Computer With Intel® Pentium® Processor E5300. Im a total newbie here so can you guys help me? I got a GeForce 9500GT 512 MB and was wondering if it will work on my CPu. Hope you guys can help me thank you!

Hello trufels, Here is the link to the specifications for your system. It shows your system was shipped with a 220 watt power supply.
Here is a link to Nvidia that shows the minimum power supply requirements to be 350 watts.
Look under the specifications Tab and then Thermal and Power Specs:
Unless you have upgraded your power supply, the Nvidia 9500GT would not work properly in your system.

Hi,
Look here at HP Partsurfer for video cards that are used in the newer slimline models with a 220 watt power supply.
These cards are manufactured specially for HP slimline PCs.

Hi,
You shouldn't have to change the power supply if your use the video cards listed at HP Partsurfer for Slimline PCs.
You might be able to find a 270 watt PSU by doing a google on the part number of your current power supply. HP Slimline PCs were not meant to be upgraded.
