Recovery Drive D fails smart disk check

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit SP 2.
Drive D which is my Recovery Drive failed Smart Disk check. My main drive C passed.

A drive failing the Smart Disk check, typically means it has failed or is about to fail. Many HP computers have a single hard drive with two partitions... C:\ is the OS and D:\ is the recovery. Some, however, have two seperate hard drives with a different drive/partition layout. Please provide the model number and/or product number of the HP computer in question for more accurate assistance.
