Replacing DVD RW Drive(Sftware)

Hi I have an m8013w desktop pc. I have lightscribe. My DVD drive has failed and I have ordered a new one that comes with lightscribe software. My question is do I need to use the software installation disc that will come with the new drive or am I set to go without reinstalling the software. I have it now. I am up on the other procedure such as uninstalling in device manager and then replacing the drive. I am unsure of how my software would be affected and the purpose of the disc that is shipped if I already have lightscribe. Or are there other things on the installation disk. It is not mentioned in any instructions. Thank you.

Keith

Re: Replacing DVD RW Drive(Sftware)

You don't need to do anything except for replace the DVD drive...don't worry about installing new software or uninstalling the driver from device manager.
