1. Product Name and Number

 2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
Windows Vista 64-bit

 3. Error message (if any)
Won't start up

 4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred

Nope

Hi,

My Seagate hard drive recently started clicking then crashed.  The current hard drive is (was) a 750 GB 7200 rpm SATA 3G (3.0 Gb/sec).

Should I buy the same one or upgrade to 1TB?

What size hard drive do I need (3.5")?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Replacing Seagate Hard Drive

Hello larrynoz,

Yes you need a 3.5 HDD and there is no problem with you upgrading to a 1TB HDD or larger. once a HDD starts making loud clicks it is usually a goner.

there are many good ones HERE.*
