Re: SG3730Il Graphics card Support using PCI EXPRESS ...

Hi,

The motherboard in your PC has the Intel G31 chipset.   The PCI-E slot is listed as v ersion 1.1.

The bad news is that your PC only has a 180 watt power supply which is insufficient for modern graphics cards.

Hi,

What make and model of graphics card are you considering?  Did you check the power supply requirements for that particular graphics card?

Re: SG3730Il Graphics card Support using PCI EXPRESS ...

Hi,

The NVIDIA should work with the PCI-E 1.1 bus that your PC has in it.  You might want to search this forum for NVIDIA 650 compatibility issues.

Know what the return policy is before you buy.
