Upgrade CPU on S3750T

On hp.com it appears that i can choose the Pentium Dual-CoreE5300 [2.6GHz], Core 2 Duo E7500 [2.93GHz] , and Core 2 Quad Q8200 [2.33GHz].

My first question is, if I buy 2 computers, 1 with the E5300 and another with the Q8200 will they both come with the same mother board?

Second question is, do we have a list of supported CPU's for this computer? I looked around and didn't find anything. I am wondering if this can handle the Q8200, then can it handle the Q6400, Q6600, Q6700, Q6800?

Re: Upgrade CPU on S3750T

For some comparison information on those CPUs

http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/desktop-cpu-charts-q3-2008/benchmarks,31.html

Choose a bench mark (or more then one), then select your CPU options.

This is not a recommendation nor am I suggesting that this information is accurate. "I hear" Tom's Hardware is held in high regard.

If your CPU's not on this list? Then try here:

The link at:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01661175&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3911791&lan...

...shows that the "Core 2 Quad Q9400 (Y) (2.66GHz /1333 MHz) 6 MB L2 cache; Quad Core (65W)" is supported on this PC.  However, it lists the CPU as "65W".  Everywhere I look, the CPU is acutally "95W".  Does this mean that I can pick any Socket 775 CPU in the Core 2 Quad line, even if it is "95W"?

EDIT:  To note that the replacement part for the Q9400, NP339-69001, is described as 95W...maybe all Socket 775 CPU in the Core 2 Quad's are supported?.

Best Regards,

Michael
