So, I'll just stay to the 9800GT card if that's the case..
Anyways now I am having problems regarding the power supply.
Now I am puzzled this is the reason:
1.) When I first contacted HP about this matter on upgrades, they told me that I can upgrade the PSU without problems. I opted for a 600watt PSU
2.) Now on my 3rd contact to HP support, they told me that if I upgrade my PSU to a 600watt, it will damage my capacitors of my motherboard.
Can you guys explain on what should I do because I'm really puzzled now.
by the way, on my motherboard, if I get the 9800gtx+ card, it will go down to the PCIx1 slot so I bet it will not hit the memory clip.

I will be going there at US in may 27 I think. If I buy there I will only have one shot at the upgrades.
If I buy wrong and come back here in Philippines, I can't possibly return it.
Anyways the PSU that I chose is compatible with the sockets on my motherboard but it's size might not fit on the case.

If you cannot order online and return online I would make 100% sure everything is going to work. My suggestion is not to by the bigger video card and make sure the dimensions are correct on the power supply.
Good Luck

Here's my final upgrade plan:
GeForce 9800GT (BFGTech or EVGA brand)
OCZ StealthXStrean 600watt PSU
A user commented on that PSU and he said that he successfully upgraded his HP a6110n's power supply. I also noticed that we had the same chassis, so I bet it will definitely fit.
Any more suggestions are welcomed!

2.) "Now on my 3rd contact to HP support, they told me that if I upgrade my PSU to a 600watt, it will damage my capacitors of my motherboard."
That is an absolutely untrue statement. Electrical and Electronic circuits draw power from a power supply source. They will not not draw more current than the circuit was designed to draw unless components in the circuit are faulty or of low quality . A short circuit or faulty component will be affected by whatever capacity power supply is installed. Call them back and ask them if they can theoretically back up that statement.

Thanks guys. Now I'll just buy the BFG 9800GT OCX TI card.
I'll not reply back to hp's tech support. good thing my first 2 contacts on tech support knows everything and gave me clear answers on my questions but on the 3rd time it made me kinda upset about contradicting answers.
Thank you guys again.
