I need to replace my cooling fan but HP no longer has information on this model of Pavilion. I keep getting error messages that the fan is not operating. Please advise ASAP

open the case and see what fan failed.. if the CPU fan failed you need a new cooler for AM2+ socket, plenty of them on Newegg for <$25. Dont know what size case fan but you can measure the diameter and find them very cheap in Newegg also.

Hi,
Try HP Partsurfer. Many times parts are used in multiple models so you may be able to get the part you need.
You can also try goggling the part number and see what you find.
Do you know which fan is failing? The cabinet (system) fan or the CPU fan?
