Which 1394 IEEE PCI Firewire card should I install for my HP Pavilion P6670T?

I attempted to install a http://www.vantecusa.com/en/product/view_detail/387 firewire card on my HP Pavilion p6670t PC. Unfortunately, the "gold pins" on the card won't mate-up with the PCI slot on my motherboard.

Any ideas which card will work?

Thanks!

Hi:

Your motherboard only has PCIe x1 slots (as you found out) to install devices such as a firewire card.

This is the type you need:

Just do a search by the form factor which would be PCIe x1.

The model I posted above is for up to 800 MBPS transfer speeds.

There are cheaper ones, but this one seemed to have the best reviews.

I have the same question for HP Pavilion 500-23w. Can I use the same card you are recommending on this desktop?

Hi:

Looking at the picture of the motherboard for your HP Pavilion 500-23w, you cannot add any kind of expansion card whatsoever.
